THE PROJECT

Vitality Group is a global wellness and insurance company. This project focused on their internal agent-facing website and the platform agents use daily to access user information, track devices, and manage client data. The website was not working as well as it should for the people who relied on it most.

GOAL

To conduct a usability analysis on the Vitality internal website and make design recommendations on how to better restructure the information architecture and usability; ensuring agents could find what they needed quickly, confidently, and without stress.

THE CHALLENGE

User profiles were broken up unnecessarily, iconography was misleading, and usability was not as effective as it could be with the linking of devices. Content was not labelled for the user's satisfaction and was broken up into different navigation sections and making it difficult to find things on the website.

ROI

Add profiles: By adding user profiles, the information displayed is the first thing an agent sees and giving them an immediate grasp of the kind of user they are dealing with.

Remove overlapping and floating icons: By removing overlaps and creating consistency, agents can find things effectively without stress, with icons that are familiar and purposeful.

Consistent table iconography: Icons are simplified and consistent throughout, with a clear indication of what each does.

Filtering and sorting: Tables are filtered and sorted in a simple, organised manner so agents are not confused when reading data.
